“A Beacon will always be a Beacon at heart”. Time and time again, that kind of phrase continuously manifests the unwavering love and pride of being part of the Batangas Eastern Colleges. Even before the institution was formerly known as Batangas Eastern Academy (B.E.A.), a Beacon’s spirit lives on throughout the years since 1940.
Thus, as part of the 81st Foundation Day celebration, every Beacon was invited to come together in celebrating the resilience and the long-standing legacy of the BEC spirit. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the festivity was brought into the online world. Both current Beacon students and Alumni had a chance to join in the celebration through their screens and at the comfort of their homes.
Bringing the festivity on the second day, everyone gets to experience the very first Virtual Quiz Bee! It was divided into two editions to cater to the excitement of knowing how well Beacons truly know their beloved school and alma mater. The STUDENT’S EDITION was an exclusive competition for the current students of this academic year 2020-2021. It is capped at 100 participants diverged into different time schedules for each Departments.
Meanwhile, the ALUMNI’S EDITION exclusively caters for the competition for those who were BEC students once upon a time. So whether an Alumnus or an Alumna, from BEAAAI or BECAAI, every Alumni were invited to compete and get the chance to win cash prizes.
