BEC Celebrates New SPC with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Campus Blessing

Batangas Eastern Colleges celebrated a significant milestone through a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Campus Blessing of the South Poblacion Campus (SPC) that took place on August 8, 2023.

In a heartwarming display of unity and progress, Pamilyang BEC came together to celebrate the official opening of the newly acquired and renovated property nestled amidst the crossroads of San Juan Poblacion (hence the name) and wherein the vibrant community shall soon converge with the unique BEC culture of learning.

With the new chapter in the institution’s journey toward excellence in education, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony also served as a testament to the collective efforts and dedication of all those involved in the realization of this transformative project.

The BEC President, Professor Agerico De Villa together with the rest of the BEC Executive Committee comprised of Ma’am Jenny R. Salud (Vice President for Strategic Communications and International Linkages), Ma’am Cindy Q. Encarnacion (Corporate Treasurer), Dr. Lorelie A. Galit (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Atty. Pio Jay Calingasan (Assistant Dean of the Colleges and OIC of the HRD Office), Ma’am Carmelita Cueto (Chief Finance Officer), and Ma’am Rejiel Gonzales (Chief Technology Officer), along with the School Administrator, Sir Euneil A. Castillo stood at the forefront of the momentous occasion.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Former Provincial Board Member, Hon. Carlos “Bokal Caloy” Bolilia, LGU-San Juan Councilor, Hon. Rowena “Weng” Magadia, and Brgy.Captain Clarisse S. Castillo of Brgy. Poblacion.

Ma’am Edna C. Espiritu (High School Principal), Ma’am Marianne Masangkay (Asst. Principal for the Junior High School Level), Ma’am Mhabel De Chavez (Asst. Principal for the Senior High School), Ma’am Geraldine Bagnes (Academic Coordinator of the College Department), Faculty members of the Technical-Vocational Center and the rest of the staff of the Strategic Communications Office also joined in the said celebration.

Campus Blessing for the New Home of the Technical-Vocational Center

In addition to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony which was organized by BEC’s Tesda Center Office, led by its Director, Ma’am Maria Crisanta R. Isla, and Technical-Vocational Training Head, Ma’am Joana Marie B. Sulit, a Campus Blessing event also transpired that day.

Rev. Fr. Luis Duarte, MSP, Rev. Fr. John Divino Gastador, MSP, and Bro. Alexis Ballares, MSP, were the esteemed guests invited to bless the new home of the Technical-Vocational Center.

The dedication and hard work of Pamilyang BEC, along with the commitment of the faculty and administrative staff, ensured that the ceremony was a resounding success. In line with this, as the institution continues to reach new heights, this milestone signified the boundless possibilities that lie ahead for BEC and its ever-growing family.

The South Poblacion Campus (SPC) shall house the classes and comprehensive training as well as skill mastery of Beacon students of the Technical-Vocational Center starting this academic year.
