On July 12, 2026, the Beacon Senior and Cadet Girl Scouts of Batangas Eastern Colleges, together with their troop leader, took a meaningful step toward one of the highest honors in Girl Scouting by attending the Regional Orientation on the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme (CGSMS) held at the GSP Headquarters, Hilltop, Batangas City.
The orientation provided the participants with an introduction to the goals, expectations, requirements, and opportunities under the CGSMS. It encouraged the Girl Scouts to pursue a journey rooted in leadership, service, personal growth, and active involvement in their community.
Representing Batangas Eastern Colleges were Dareen Mae M. Briones, Clare Andreana M. Cuarto, Aienn Klaudeth B. Ilao, Krizia Mae Angelique D. Alimagno, Dhodetfae Krizandra G. Anyayahan, Ma. Jhiane M. Bautista, Princess Rheanna Jairel P. Feria, Aeiou Gwen O. Saligao, Jaylien M. Sumagpang, Aira Leiza M. Untalan, Ruth Ashley Sulit, Hannah Gwyneth Samarita, Sean Nikola Pitos, Trishia Mae Bravo, and Karyle Fhate Ramos. They were accompanied by Mrs. Jacqueline Sacristan-Reinton, BEC GSP Coordinator and Troop Leader.
Their participation marks the beginning of an inspiring journey toward leadership and service. Through the CGSMS, the BEC Girl Scouts are encouraged to develop their potential, strengthen their commitment to helping others, and demonstrate the values of responsible leadership.
The entire Beacon community proudly supports the Girl Scouts as they pursue this significant milestone, carrying with them the spirit of purpose, service, and dedication. Their journey serves as a reminder that true leadership begins with the willingness to learn, serve, and grow.
