In celebration of the BSIS Days, students from the College of Computer Studies get to enjoy not only the highly-anticipated and first-ever Hackathon competition but also the thrill brought by the Esports scene – the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament!
Forty (40) participants registered and 8 teams were formed to compete as this year’s crowned champions of the JCPS Mobile Legend: Bang Bang Tournament. The event was held at the PSGS gymnasium and officially started at 9 AM (May 12, 2023).
All teams displayed excellent strategies and tactics however only a few maintained an offensive strategy throughout the entire battle holding their ground until the Semi-Finals round.
The top teams who reached the Semi-finals were the following:
Bracket 1: Next Game IS team versus Mix & Match team
Bracket 2: Viva Mentos team versus Trippings team
A shift in the middle of the fight was on heat and everyone brought their A-game to conquer their opponents. However, two teams maintained their composure and proved to be more exceptional. For the final round, Next Game IS team and Viva Mentos team faced off to be the undisputed winner of their fierce battle. The intensity of the game is in full mode and both teams played tremendously until the last second.
At the end of it all, the one that showed great team coordination throughout the entire battle (from start to finish) was the Next Game IS.
