In celebration of National Reading Month, the Learning Resource Center (LRC) organized a fun event for every Beacon in the Junior High School and Senior High School levels. Spearheaded by the School Librarian, Ma’am Gederlyn R. Salimo, RL, MLIS, the month of November is made brighter through an activity that is focused on Beacons’ interest in books and love for reading!
To promote the significance of reading and encourage the cultivation of literacy, critical thinking skills as well as allow the learners to flourish their creative minds, students are invited to join the “FACE A BOOK TODAY!” For this activity, students may take a photo (selfie) together with their favorite book. So just keep on scrolling down and soon you’ll meet Beacon readers and book lovers; and find out what they love to read!
Here are several photos of our book enthusiasts. You may even take inspiration from this selection of their favorite books!
