In partnership with DIWA’s GENYO, dedicated Beacon educators came together last July 26 & 27 for an enriching Teacher Training Program that is primarily designed to set the stage for an exciting school year ahead.
With the ongoing challenges posed by the evolving educational landscape, the Teacher Training aimed to empower BEC teachers with adaptable strategies to engage students effectively wherein any potential learning gaps experienced by the learners are meticulously addressed. It also covered topics such as designing classroom-based solutions, creating learning materials, identifying gaps, how to implement effective techniques including insights on how to evaluate the learning process.
Diwa’s Learning Integration Specialists (LIS) facilitated the training, sharing insights into creating dynamic lesson plans that cater to various learning styles while making effective use of the Genyo e-Learning platform. Participants from all levels and/or departments enthusiastically embraced collaborative activities and hands-on workshops that allowed them to practice new techniques that would enhance student engagement and improve academic outcomes. Ultimately, this training and other preparations were designed not only to enhance their skills but to inspire them to continuously create a meaningful and impactful learning experience for every Beacon student in this new school year of 2023-2024.
